Women’s emerging camp kicks off in Karachi

Karachi: The women’s emerging camp, organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started at the Moin Khan Cricket Academy.

The camp was scheduled to start from April 3 but due to positive COVID-19 cases among participants, it got delayed. In the first training session, 26 women cricketers are training.

The camp commenced after the PCB received written permission from the Sindh government. All players and staff members will remain in bio-bubble.

The players are training under the supervision of the coaching staff of the women’s national cricket team head coach David Hemp, bowling coach Arshad Khan, strength and condition coach Drikus Saaiman, academy coaches Mohsin Kamal and Naveed Anjum.

Meanwhile, three members of the squad are quarantined at the High-Performance Center as they are COVID-19 positives.
