COLOMBO: Pakistani spinner Yasir Shah became the quickest Pakistani bowler to get 50 wickets in test matches.
Shah achieved the milestone in his 9th test match today against Sri Lanka.

Alf Valentine of West Indies reached this milestone in his 8th test match, followed by Arthur Mailey of Australia (9th match), Bobby Peel of England (9th match), R Ashwin of India (9th match), Stuart McGill of Australia (9th match).
Yasir, whose seven-wicket haul in Sri Lanka’s second innings fashioned Pakistan’s 10-wicket victory in the first Test in Galle, once again tormented the rival batsmen in the second test which is underway.
