Pakistan’s leg spinner Yasir Shah has been banned for a period of three months from international cricket. Yasir will be able to represent once again after 27th of March.
Yasir was provisionally suspended from international cricket in December when his sample, which was taken on November 13, was found to be positive.
Due to the ban Yasir will miss the current Pakistan Super League, the upcoming Asia cup and the all important world T20 in India which is scheduled to take place in March.
Although at first it seemed as if a longer ban would be handed to Yasir Shah but efforts of PCB have ensured that a ban of smaller duration was imposed. This means that Yasir will be able to play for Pakistan during the tour of England which is of vital for Pakistan.
