Pakistan’s wrist-spinner Yasir Shah has joined the national team’s spin consultant Mushtaq Ahmed at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Shah, who missed out in the upcoming opening Test against Sri Lanka as Pakistan went with four pacers, will work with former cricketer to gain his form back.
He will rejoin the squad in Karachi on December 16 where the second Test will be played from December 19 to 23.
It must be noted here that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had appointed Mushtaq as spin bowling consultant last week. According to his contract, he will work 120 days a year at NCA with the U16, U19 and other domestic bowlers. As and when required, he will work with the national team.
