Younis Khan apologizes to Chairman PCB and returns to Pakistan Cup


Younis Khan talked to the Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman, Shahryar Khan over a phone call and apologized for his act of leaving the ongoing premier domestic ODI tournament, Pakistan Cup in the midway.

The veteran Pakistan batsman, Younis Khan was captaining Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan Cup, he was cross over poor quality of umpiring during the campaign so he decided to leave the tournament suddenly.

However, the former Pakistan skipper has showed his willingness to return in the KPK team and participate in the rest of the tournament.

The leading run scorer for Pakistan in test cricket was feared a 3 to 5 match ban for his inappropriate conduct and was also imposed a ban of 50% of his match fee for not attending the disciplinary hearing.

The 38 year old said that he is an adviser to the Chairman PCB on cricketing affairs, thus, it is his obligation to take part in the biggest domestic ODI tournament for the betterment of cricket in the country.

In absence of Younis Khan, Ahmed Shehzad led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the game against Balochistan and gave his team a convincing win. But, Ahmed Shehzad has welcomed the decision of Khan to return to the KPK team for the remainder of the tournament.
