Former Pakistan’s Test skipper and highest Test run-scorer of the country, Younis Khan donated his bat with which he scored his 10,000th Test run to The Citizen Foundation (TCF).
During the series against West Indies in April, Younis Khan became the first Pakistani batsman and 13th batsman in the world to score 10,000 Test runs.
Younis Khan told after donating his beloved bat that he believes education can unlock the potential Pakistani nation.
“I am of the firm belief that education is the key that will unlock the potential of our great nation. I am convinced that my contribution would further enable TCF to continue with their commendable work of bringing about positive social change,” said Younis Khan.
The legendary batsman further told while addressing the ceremony that his 10,000 Test runs are a result of tireless hard work of 17 years.
