Younis Khan included in squad for second Test match

LAHORE: Pakistan’s leading run scorer in Test matches Younis Khan is back in the squad for the second Test match against West Indies.

According to details Younis Khan will be part of the 15 member squad for the second Test match against West Indies after recovering from dengue fever. The rest of the 14 members of squad are the same ones which are currently playing the first Test match.

Younis is Pakistan’s highest run-scorer in Test matches with 9456 runs at an average of 53.72. He had played 41 successive matches before missing the Test match at Abu Dhabi. He scored a double century against England at The Oval in his last Test appearance for Pakistan.

Chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq said Younis was the only fresh inclusion.

“We are satisfied with the performance of the squad so we feel there is no need for a change except to bring in Younis,” said Inzamam according to AFP.
