Lahore: PCB’s Chairman Shahryar Khan takes serious notice of the incidence which occurred between Younus Khan and the umpire. It is quite likely that as per PCB’s code of conduct level 3, Younus Khan might be banned from playing 3 to 5 matches.
The PCB Chairman, Shahryar Khan has asked for a detailed report from the match referee regarding the dispute which took place in the Pakistan Cup between Younus Khan and the umpire and it is quite likely that he may face a ban from playing 3 to 5 matches.
Earlier Younus Khan had also refused to appear before the disciplinary committee and PCB had taken action as per code of conduct level 2 by charging a fine of 50 percent of the match fee.
Its worthy to mention that Younus Khan had protested against the inferior umpiring during the Pakistan Cup match played at Faisalabad however he was fined by the referee and he left the match in the middle of the tournament as a protest.
