Senior batsman Younus Khan rules out early retirement says my aim is to cross 10,000 runs target in test cricket.
While talking to the media, seasoned batsman said I have no plan to retire immediately, it’s my desire to cross the 10,000 runs mark in test cricket. When I feel I am unable to play any longer I myself will step away from cricket. Younus Khan said its Misbah’s personal decision to consider retirement I will retire when I think it’s appropriate. I have in front of me the 10,000 test runs target which I am hopeful to achieve. I shall retire from cricket without any hesitation when I’ll personally feel I am unable to play any further.
He said I have forgotten all differences and am focusing on the upcoming England series. It’s going to be a tough series and I hope to perform well. He once again said he still considers himself fit for ODI matches and if given the responsibility of captaincy will try to prove his worth.
