LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to send left arm pacer Zia-ul-Haq as a replacement for injured Rahat Ali on the ongoing tour to Bangladesh citing sources, ARYSports.tv reports.
According to sources, left arm pacer Rahat Ali suffered an hamstring injury and may not be a part of Pakistan’s playing XI in the third ODI on Wednesday.
Pakistan has already lost the ODI series to Bangladesh 2-0 and is on the brink of suffering a whitewash.
It should be noted that many players, named in the squad for Bangladesh tour, have suffered injuries without playing a single match.
Sohaib Maqsood and Sohail Khan were ruled out of the tour before it got underway whereas Yasir Shah and Ehsan Adil were also out of the team before the ODI series began.
Haq has taken 95 wickets while appearing in 29 matches in the first class format.
