Zimbabwe Cricket chief confirms Pakistan’s tour official announcement about to happen


Karachi: Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani has confirmed that the official announcement of Zimbabwe’s tour of Pakistan would be made shortly.

“Hopeful we will be cleared to travel to Pakistan,” he told ESPNCricinfo

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Executive Wasim Khan, while talking to ‘Sports Room’ at ARY News, told that the ZC have asked for the SOPs and we are sending them.

“We are fully expecting them (Zimbabwe) to come here. We have sent them the SOPs,” Wasim said.

The Chevrons tour are scheduled to play in late October with the three-match ODI series likely to be played in Multan while the three T20Is will be played in Rawalpindi.

It must be noted that Zimbabwe toured Pakistan in 2015 where they played three ODIs and two T20Is.
