Zimbabwe players served royal breakfast

HARARE: Zimbabwe cricket team enjoyed delicious Pakistani delicacies on their first day here in Pakistan, ARYSports.tv reports.

According to details, Zimbabwean players were served with a royal breakfast which included Halwa Puri, sausages, salads, eggs and breads.

Pakistani players and PCB officials were also present during the breakfast.

It should be noted that the Zimbabwe team has been given the state guest status as they became the first test-playing nation to tour Pakistan after an attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore in 2009.

Sources said that the visiting side seems satisfied with the security arrangements made for the tour.

Zimbabwe are due to play two Twenty20 internationals on May 22 and 24, followed by three one-day internationals on May 26, 29 and 31 — all in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
